294. John FORTESCUE of Spridlestone ⁽³⁵⁷⁾. John lived during the Civil War. He was initially a Royalist but it
appears that he became a Parliamentarian, since a certificate dated
24th April 1649 refers to him as a Lt. Col of Reformadoes in Sir
James Smythes' Brigade.

John FORTESCUE of Spridlestone had the following children:
