24. John FORTESCUE of Wimpstone ⁽²⁹⁾ was born about 1460. He died on 22 May 1519.⁽²⁶⁾ Son and heir. John was aged in excess of 50 at his mother's death in 1501. This places his birth date as about 1460

He was married to Isabella GIBBES of Fenton (daughter of Thomas GIBBES of Fenton). John FORTESCUE of Wimpstone and Isabella GIBBES of Fenton had the following children:
