He was married to Catherine DAVEY on 20 Oct 1829 in Woolley Church, Woolley, Hunts. Catherine DAVEY⁽⁶⁰¹⁾ was born in 1811. She died before 1871. John FORTESCUE of Cotterstock and Catherine DAVEY had the following children:
