They moved to Swavesey to "The Old House" Black Horse Lane. Hugh and Joey were born there. Lived at Buckworth Manor House after that see photo. Probably moved to Bridge House Alconbury after retiring on 31 Mach 1934 after 40 years in Public Service. Worked as Highway Inspector and Sanitary Inspector.

He was married to Minnie Elizabeth TEBBUTT (daughter of Charles TEBBUTT and Mary Elizabeth (Elizabeth) CORNISH) before 1883. Minnie Elizabeth TEBBUTT⁽⁹²³⁾ was born on 23 Dec 1860. She died on 9 Jan 1923 in Alconbury Weston, Huntingdonshire. She was buried in Alconbury Church, Hunts. Frank FORTESCUE of Woolley and Minnie Elizabeth TEBBUTT had the following children:

1111 iv. Minnie Thorp (Bunny) FORTESCUE⁽⁴⁵⁰⁾ was born on 22 Dec 1888 in Woolley Lodge Farm, Woolley, Hunts. She died on 20 May 1978 in Dibden Purlieu, New Forest, Hants. She was buried in Crematorium, Southampton, Hants. Later in life was housekeeper at THe Thatches Letchworth for ICL. A wonderful cook and had a marvellous sense of humour
